Anyone who is selected under this program will have a chance to apply for permanent residence. If it is granted, the individual will be able to work and enjoy his life in American legally! Also, they have the privilege of bringing their spouse and any unmarried child under the age of 21 to the United States. 90,000 applicants are picked to ensure that all 50,000 green cards DV-2008 are issued. Only the first 50,000 qualified applicants will be issued green cards.
